How to control Lace Bugs in the plants?

Updated: Oct 3, 2021

Lace bugs are small insects and will be seen as reddish orange spots on the surface of the leaves. Normally Lace bugs are found underneath the surface of the leaves.

These lace bugs will suck the juice from the leaves and will completely destroy the plants if they are not treated properly.

If you find the symptoms of lace bugs in your plants, you should treat them immediately else lace bugs will completely destroy the plants.

Best insecticide to get ready of the Okra plants is Neem Oil Insecticide.

To prepare the insecticide mix, take 5 ml of Neem oil, 5 ml of Dishwash Liquid and dilute them in 1 litre of water.

You can use a hand sprayer to apply the insecticide mix as a foliar spray over the surface of the leaves.

In 2 to 3 days, the plants will be completely free from Lace Bugs. If the plants are infected more, continue the treatment after a week and the plants will be completely free from Lace Bugs.
